Well, it's New Year's Eve, and our beautiful, fresh Christmas tree is turning brown--we can't even touch it without triggering a shower of pine needles! We're hoping it will last one more day. It has been beautiful to have in our living room this past month, along with all the other joys of Christmas.
We have had a wonderful couple of weeks....
attending concerts and hearing the beautiful music,
shopping, crafting and baking,
wrapping and unwrapping (and speed stacking) gifts,
spending time together,
and remembering the reason for the season.
No wonder we're sad it's over! We'll miss that Christmas feeling without the tree, but luckily there are still a few more days of winter break :)
