Three Trick-Or-Treaters
When we set out for trick-or-treating last night, I had a prediction about how long each of my little ones would last. I thought Alaina would want to go home first, and that Ben would want to keep going the longest.
I only got it half right!
We started at 5:30, and Janae was done by 6.
She spent the rest of the evening watching Mermaidia on the couch (not even a Halloween show!) and helping me to pass out candy.
I tried to take Alaina home with me, too, but she wanted to keep trick-or-treating! Jason finally brought her home at 7; she had two buckets of candy, which was twice the amount Janae had collected.
Ben and Jason didn't come home until 8:00.
By that time, though, Benjamin was finally satisfied that this had been his best Halloween EVER.

we were never home in that house on Halloween - were there a lot of kids out?
Wow, they got bags of chips?!! That is awesome. I can't believe how long Alaina lasted:) Tyson and Kya were both wiped out pretty quick, but we were with a big group so we had to keep trudging along. I'm so glad that Ben thought it was the best halloween EVER AND that you found your other box of decorations!!
Rachel--We had a TON of kids come to the door . . . and actually ran out of candy by about 7:00. Luckily we had a big bag of lollypops left over from something else, so we could keep giving out treats! We thought it turned out to be a great neighborhood for trick-or-treating :)
I couldn't believe that Alaina lasted that long trick or treating--she sure got a lot of treats in those buckets. I'm glad too that Ben thought it was the best Halloween ever! I think, because the weather cooperated we had more kids trick or treating than ever before.
