First thing in the morning on New Year's Day, little Alaina, who we have lovingly described as a climber on many occasions, was climbing up on a shelf to get one of her babies or stuffies (we can't be 100 percent sure, since she was alone in her room), and fell.
She cut her lip pretty badly, and today it is looking really bruised as well.
Of course it's nice to see that this little incident hasn't done anything to damage her love of adventure
and fun,
but we are hoping it might put at least a small dent in her love of high places.
